Fragonia I Hand-tufted Rug
Designer:
Tai Ping
Dimensions:
Width 240, Depth 300 cm
Inspired by the Japanese Shibori tie-dye technique, the Fragonia I Rug by Tai Ping transforms the impression of ink into a textured textile composition. An abstract floral motif emerges like a tufted drawing, balancing lights with matte, cut surfaces. Its irregular silhouette, shaped by organic geometry, recalls fragmented stones or raw diamonds. This piece is hand-tufted in wool, Berber wool, linen, and silk.
