Hunters Moon Artwork by Sophie Coryndon is a large carved wall hanging that reimagines the glowing disc of the moon as an illuminated tapestry. Drawing inspiration from historic millefleur textiles and the Lady and the Unicorn tapestries, the work translates foliage, flora, and nocturnal symbolism into a patterned relief surface.
Carved, linen wrapped poplar panel with a series of sculpted, cast and gilded Carton Pierre flowers and insects assembled into a central full moon.
